O Black Sabbath lançará no dia 01 de outubro uma edição de luxo de Technical Ecstasy, sétimo álbum de estúdio da banda lançado originalmente em 1976.

O novo lançamento terá duas versões diferentes, uma em 5LP e outra em 4CD. Ambas as opções incluirão o álbum original remasterizado, outtakes ao vivo e inéditos da turnê de 1975-76, nova mixagem de Steven Wilson e reimpressões do luxuoso livreto de capa dura, pôster e panfleto da turnê.

Technical Ecstasy foi gravado em junho de 1976 no Criteria Studios, Miami, Flórida. Todas as canções foram compostas por Tony Iommi, Ozzy Osbourne, Geezer Butler e Bill Ward, com exceção de It’s Alright, escrita por Ward. Após a turnê de divulgação do álbum, Ozzy Osbourne deixaria a banda, mas retornaria no ano seguinte.
